Explore the vast and rugged wilderness of Dartmoor’s granite outcrops and ancient forests, wild swim in secret pools, paddle board on calm estuaries, walk along miles of beaches breathing in the salty air or dip into our little black book of contacts for falconry flying, local tours both 4×4 and horseback or gin distilleries with sampling to tempt you.

With complementary passes for all our Shepherd Hut retreat guests, to the 800-year-old National Trust Buckland Abbey Gardens and 700-acre Estate and a mere mile to The Garden House considered a “Plants’ Man’s Paradise”, you need not get in the car at all.
